It’s great to see this new space. Hope it develops with contributions from the silat community. Despite being such an important cultural-sport-artistic activity, silat has not received proper attention in Malaysia. Sorry to say that. Instead, we see so much official support and unealthy publicity of Formula One and other remotely interesting “sports” such as bowling! Pleeeease!

Thanks for the comments. Currently, Silat Melayu Ezine (SME) is defunct, but we’ve embarked on a much larger project, which is Silat Melayu.Com hopefully, it will be an able successor to the ezine and be even more successful in disseminating information on Malaysian Silat to the world.
Akum nadzrin…congrate..it’s good to see you are progressing very well in providing one space for malaysians silat artist and hopefully more from western to share their very own real experience in Silat, i mean how effective silat technique in facing with real situation..okay nadzrin tahniah!!
